Titanium Brushes

Titanium is very soft and about half the weight of steel. Titanium has excellent resistance to corrosion, chlorides, saltwater and acids, and is essentially non-magnetic. It is ideal for use on titanium parts where galvanic corrosion is unacceptable.

Uses for Titanium Brushes

Titanium brushes are used to clean titanium parts. When steel brushes are used on titanium parts, small amounts of the stainless steel are abraded from the brush fiber and embedded in the surface of the part. The two metals become physically bound. If moisture is added, the result is the creation of a battery and the start of galvanic corrosion. Read more about galvanic corrosion of titanium parts.
