Ken Rakusin keeping business local
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif. — In 1990, Ken Rakusin took the position of president at Gordon Brush Manufacturing Company, but he was not sure what he was getting himself into.
The company was based out of a dark and rundown 15,000 square foot facility.
The patented, thin profile, Seat Sweep® floor broom line was designed to clean underneath the seats of movie theaters, stadiums, arenas, and any indoor or outdoor venue with stadium-like seats. This broom can also be used to clean the aisles in grocery stores and smooth the sand in track stadiums or the sand traps on a golf course.
The line consists of 32 different configurations. One has a choice of three different sizes, 18", 24", 32"; two different frame styles, straight or curved; two different socket types, standard or flip-flop®; and two different trim lengths, 2" or 3". All configurations use polypropylene fill material set into a hi-tech plastic frame.
The thin profile design of the of the Seat Sweep® floor broom makes it easy for the user to maneuver underneath seats and around corners. The smooth, rounded top corners won't damage the underbelly of padded seats found in many venues. The Seat Sweep® floor broom works great for both light and heavy duty debris.
